What Makes A Plant Rare

Are you obsessed with collecting tropical houseplants? Do you spend your spare time researching new species and discovering the botanical world around us? Ever curious why some plants become so popular, hard to find, and expensive?

Join Dan Dalton with Dalton Conservatory at The Broze Petal to explore, discuss, and delve into why plants are considered “rare” and how it can affect economics (aka price) and conservation (botanical recovery and preservation.)

We will have a chance to look at a variety of “rare” plants ranging from the ever-popular Monstera deliciosa “albo borsigiana” to the obscure aroid like Philodendron squamiferum, to the recently popular and incredibly stunning Philodendron “pink princess.”

Find out about some tools and resources to help gain knowledge on all plants and learn in a fun interactive style with fellow Front Range plant nerds!

Class comes with a 10% discount on all plants purchased day of the class!
